The Jayer barrels are made from a blend of forests and grains specifically chosen to highlight the pinot noir and enrich the chardonnay.
Our Master Coopers have specifically developed a bousinage dedicated to the two products making up the range, the White Selection and Red Selection barrels.
Red Selection
An assemblage of specific forests from Vosges, Nièvre and the Pyrenees Piemonte, composed of fine grain for Pinot Noir and Rhone varieties.
A burgundy toasted profile, especially designed for these grapes.
White selection
Selection of fine and medium grain with constant grow to structure that bring roundness to white wine like chardonnay.
Optionally, a fully immersed hot water process can be used to provide more fruit and less wood structure. This process is made to provide volume and elegance to wines with good acidity.
